We didn't need them even on Christmas night.
So pleasantly surprised by this place! Their chicken ramen bowl, so so good! I'm very picky with chicken, and their pulled chicken didn't have that strong unseasoned taste which I often stumble upon in restaurants. It was tender and flavourful. I also couldn't get enough of the broth and the noodles! I also had their entrees (can't recall the name) which was a nice, cripsy onion flake. The restaurant itself is nothing special, very basic, but clean! You should try this place if you want good, fresh noodles!
There 3 noodle restaurants around here, I love this one
This place was delicious. Ordered 4 noodle dishes and all 4 were amazing, quick, perfectly cooked noodles, and steaming hot. Prices were $10 per bowl which was very reasonable for the flavour and portion of what you get.
Fine prices, good portions, meat was a bit too sweet, noodles were on point. Average customer service.
The food is delicious here and affordable. The noodles are handmade and they taste so fresh. It's the best noodles I had in an Asian dish. I like that there are also side dishes you can choose from. We got the braised beef and it was very flavorful. We also had the scallion pancakes and it was perfect. I ordered the braised beef soup, it was so good. The meat was very tender and the soup was well-seasoned. This is definitely a place to go back to!
Good place for something quick and cheap. This restaurant is located in the basement of a building. There is street parking along both sides and the entrance to the restaurant is from the streets. They offer a small menu but have extremely quick service. They have really cheap side dishes that are pretty good. Their noodle dishes here are ok.All noodles are freshly made everyday. You can see the chefs make your noodle through the open kitchen.Their dumplings are pretty good. Hot and freshly steamed when ordered. Overall, decent place
I got extra noodles + extra meat. It was worth it. The dry noodles are quite sweet due to the sauce though.🐢
Delicious food, great service, and had fun watching them make the noodles.
Good for a late night snack. Wish the Pork BBQ was not sold out though. Affordable prices too.
I've been frequenting this restaurant for a few years now. Their handmade noodles are first-rate (with a special mention for the braised-beef shank noodle soup and the BBQ pork dry noodles). The scalions pancakes are also a must. The place is spacious and rarely crowded, which makes it ideal for a romantic lunch or a casual supper. A discreet Montréal gem.
The place has delicious food and great service. If there is a line up it is still worth the wait for their gnocchi :) my only gripe is that it can get quite loud very quickly but there is only so much a place cabs do about the structure of an old building so they still get 5 stars
One of my favorite restaurant in Montreal. Awesome breakfast! Great, and fast, service! Food was very good and affordable. Highly recommend!!!
Friendly service, great food for a cold evening. We had the beef shank spicy noodle soup and the scallion pancake. Both were really tasty!
The hand pulled noodles here are great. We've been a few times over a couple years and the quality has remained consistent. The service is efficient and it is a pleasure to watch the noodles being stretched and made. There isn't many vegetarian options with the pulled noodles, but that's ok. What they do offer is delicious.
The pulled chicken soup was great. It was a lot for only $10. Personally I would've liked the chicken more seasoned but it was very delicious and it's healthy
Great noodle place. The noodles are hand made and tasty. However, it is a bit pricey considering there are many other soup places nearby at a more affordable price. Other than that, great place to bring the family since it's empty most of the time during the day.
I ordered braised beef soup. It taste fine, and I love the home-made noodles. One dislike is the amount of meat was half or less compared to Lanzhou for the similar price. Basically I was not feeling filled after my meal.
Fantastic experience and always fresh noodles! Have been going to this place for a long time with my girlfriens. Totally recommend pork ears! ;)
Good food, not too pricey and good portions
The noodles were good, but the portions are too small, especially considering the price. A bowl is not enough even for my 14-year old son. Also the braised beef soup flavor was good but again meat portion was not enough and the meat was also a bit chewy. I’m from New York City so I may be spoiled with better food at cheaper prices but they should be able to do better than this.
I love their noodles! They’re so tasty. The portions are big enough.
I came here to try their pulled noodle soups. When I arrived at the restaurant, I was directed to my seat right away. Glass of water was served instantly at the seating. There seemed to only be one server, and she was fast and attentive consider the amount of customers that were at the restaurant. The menu had a good basic selection of Chinese noodle soups.I was recommended this noodle place, and after trying it I was a bit disappointed it wasn't as good as described to me. The soup was average in taste and lacks that umami flavour I crave in noodle soups. The hand pulled noodles were fresh but not the best skills were put into the the art of noodle making. Noodle strands varied in sizes significantly. There was little chew to the noodles - its texture is closer to well-done Korean instant noodles. Overall just ok and standard for noodle soup.
Noodles made by hand from scratch on site! Delicious and inexpensive!
Fresh pulled noodles right to order. The soup is decent. Slightly rich and beefy. Compared to the other spots the area, there are better alternatives available for the price. However this place is the foundation, it's what is expected with this style of soup.
Love Taste! Food is continually stunning. Plate of mixed greens is so new. Staff grinning and respectful.
The service was very nice and I wasn't sure what to order so I asked for a recommendation. She gave me a few ideas and I picked the bbq beef udon which was an amazing choice. She made sure I was happy with what I ordered coming by a couple of times but was never intrusive. ---The noodles were amazing, thick and full of taste. The broth was also very good. High quality broth from what I tasted. The vegetables added a nice soothing taste and feel to the soup. Especially the cucumber which surprised me when I saw and tasted it.---When I do come back I will be sure to try different soup/noodle.I highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for an amazing soup in Chinatown Montreal.
